High School Students Invited to Apply for Attorney General’s Teen Ambassador Board

(COLUMBUS, Ohio) — The Ohio Attorney General’s Office is now accepting applications for the Teen Ambassador Board for the 2026-27 academic year.

The board gives students interested in law and government the opportunity to get firsthand experience with the Attorney General’s Office. The program is available to rising high-school juniors and seniors enrolled in public, private, charter and online schools.

“This is a fantastic chance for ambitious students to see government in action and gain firsthand insight into how it works,” Attorney General Andy Wilson said. “They’ll take that experience back to their communities as they grow into the next generation of leaders.”

Ambassadors will work with and be advised by an assistant attorney general as they serve their one-year term.

During their term, ambassadors will have the opportunity to attend events across Ohio, complete training on important matters and attend presentations on various topics.

Ambassadors will also hear from elected officials and meet with Attorney General Wilson.

Ideal candidates are motivated and enthusiastic self-starters with an interest in law and government.

The submission deadline for applications is Sept. 8, 2026. Each student application must include a recommendation from a teacher, coach or community member.

More information, including application and recommendation forms, is available on the attorney general’s website.
